If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Arizona from November to April and on a beach like San Diego or Kauai from May to October. This allows time to appreciate the ruggedness of the desert and mountains as well as the beauty of the ocean without taking either for granted (and enjoy the lottery winnings I obviously have won to be able to pull this off!)
If a genie granted you three wishes, what would they be (excluding a wish for more wishes)?
After good health and work/opportunities to do the things we love for me and my family, my third wish would be to complete every Ironman Triathlon as this would mean that I visit a lot of beautiful places around the world and would be in epic shape!
“Have Fun, Change the World, and the Money will follow…do things in that order and you will have a great life.” I attribute that to the original Mr. Gadget for the accounting profession, Wayne Harding, who proved accountants could be cool people (…not that I am, just that accountants could be cool!)
I’m a huge James Bond fan, and Forest Gump has to be up there, but the truth is I will absolutely enjoy any movie that has a helicopter, machine guns firing, and fireball explosions in the opening sequence, and I am provided a bucket of popcorn!
Sylvie (spouse) and two sons, Stephan & Antoine. Sylvie is French Canadian and recently obtained her US Citizenship; I was born in Germany and naturalized when I was young, so our boys are first generation Americans. My mother was German and brought us to Arizona when I was ten years old; she is still living here in Scottsdale. My father was from Poland and amongst the first Green Berets in the US Special Forces as a demolition paratrooper; he is listed on the Vietnam War Memorial (MACV-SOG).
