Firm Production Optimization (FPO) Review
The Xcentric Firm Production Optimization (FPO) Review analyzes the firm’s workflow processes within the tax, audit, client services, administrative and marketing areas, as well as the firm’s information technology infrastructure. The process highlights IT and production weaknesses and provides specific recommendations for immediate implementation based on the firm’s business direction and existing equipment and applications. Communications, staffing, and professional benchmarking are also integrated into the FPO Review.
The FPO Review begins by having the firm complete a detailed technology inventory so our consultants thoroughly understand your firm’s purchase history, network components and equipment aging, as well as mix of accounting applications. We then meet with two to five members from each department to walk through their production workflow processes, suggesting best practices utilized successfully by other firms, as well as educating them on current accounting profession trends. The onsite visit concludes by providing an overview of accounting firm best practices and trends to your IT team, as well as delivery of summary recommendations that will be detailed within the firm’s custom written report.
In the week following the engagement, the written report will be delivered in MS Word format so that the firm can immediately begin implementation and track progress. Our consultants are available to answer questions and direct the firm toward best practices/processes to ensure the firm’s successful adoption of written recommendations. The FPO Review requires one day onsite and two days offsite to complete. A follow-up meeting to discuss recommendations can be arranged as well.
FPO Pricing
The FPO Review process is $8,500 plus expenses for firms with greater than 70 personnel/workstations or 3+ locations, $7,750 for firms with between 40 and 70 personnel/workstations, and $7,000 for firms with less than 40 members/workstations through October 15, 2012.
All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change until services contracted.
