Xcentric Celebrates 15 Years!

March 1, 2017 marked the 15-year anniversary of Xcentric.  Yesterday, both of our offices had celebrations with each of our founding members.  It was a momentous occasion for us to look around and think about just how far we’ve come since Xcentric’s founding year in 2002.

In 2002:

  • Working out of Trey’s basement where all three employees wore every hat…sales, engineering, and support!
  • Xcentric Cloud, known initially as “Gray Matter,” was just a crazy idea we were pondering.
  • We grew to seven employees in six months and got kicked out of the neighborhood by the HOA.
  • Floppy disks still existed, and many clients didn’t have a full-time Internet connection.

Roman Named Top 25 Thought Leader for 7 Consecutive Years!

Congratulations to our Director of Consulting, Roman Kepczyk, for being recognized again by CPA Practice Advisor as a top thought leader within the accounting technology industry.  This recognition is given to tax and accounting’s most influential practitioners, consultants and other experts.  Roman travels during the majority of the year meeting with CPA firms and speaking at conferences and association meetings, teaching people within the industry how to utilize technology by implementing today’s digital best practices.

2017 CRN MSP500 Results Are Out!

We are excited to see that Xcentric has made it on CRN’s MSP 500 list again under the Pioneer 250 category.  The MSP500 list consists of solution providers in North America of which CRN recognizes as having “cutting-edge approaches to delivering managed services.”

This list of 500 companies is divided into three groups based on services and products offered.  The MSP Pioneer 250 group, which we fall into, consists of businesses that offer managed services mainly to the SMB market. (more…)

We love providing our readers with content on IT within the accounting industry, however, it only makes sense for us to post on our blog when our audience will read it. Because we know CPAs, we know that during tax season you’re too busy to do anything other than work, so we will be taking a break from our blog.
